I've been looking on the Swedish equivalent of Craigslist to find the basic furniture that we need. I had no idea how hard it would be to get poeple to e-mail me back! I found a great crib for E-man and the people actually ended up living literally 2 mins away. It was such a blessing since it didn't fit in the car so Isaac and I went and carried it up to my sisters house. We now have beds for all of us, and today we bought a couch off that website too! Praise the Lord that we found stuff in good condition for cheap! This is a picture from the ad they put in:
It has been so incredibly hot out these past few days. I never realized how humid it was here until I lived in Denver. Sweden also doesn't have much A/C anywhere since we rarely need it, not even many summers. But when it's hot - it's HOT here. So my sister bought a pool for the kids to cool off in...and us adults may or may not have gotten into it too :)
I took E-man to his first pediatrician visit here in Sweden yesterday. It was a very pleasant surprise. Isaac and I have after much research made certain decisions about our children that can be very controversial for many people, especially many pediatricians. But I have never been met with such respect over that decision as I was there. It had been something I hadn't been looking forward too, but I left so glad. Our little E-man is now 28.5 inches long and 18lbs 5oz! He's definitely not starving!!
One of our friends is a journalist and she asked if she could write an article about us three sisters having the same birthday. So yesterday they came over to interview us and take some pictures for a national magazine. Kinda silly!
This coming week we'll get to move into the place we'll be renting. We're excited to start being able to have bible studies and invite people to them! :)
Here are some pictures of the cousins snuggling:
They like eating raisins on the couch - can you tell?!
